About

Natalie Roe is a Composer, Producer and Electronic Artist based between Cardiff and the West Midlands. She combines acoustic and electronic sounds with other mediums in an array of multidisciplinary projects. She specialises in performing live electronic soundscapes with the Modular Synthesiser which she often uses to manipulate real world sounds.

Natalie graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a First-Class Honours degree in Composition and Creative Music Technology which included a year studying abroad at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. 

Collaboration is central to Natalie’s work and can be seen in projects she has co-founded including The Flying Bedroom Theatre Company and Sound Sculpture Duo Tangible Lemon. Her works include ‘Crisials’ an installation for Christmas At Bute Park, ‘Taith’ a work for violin and electronics as part of Ty Cerdd’s Ffidil Plws and “NEXUS” written and performed by BBC National Orchestra of Wales. She is also part of the Global Network for Women Music Producers who she recently went to Banff and Calgary, Canada with. For her composition, Natalie has received a 2023 UK Oram Award and a Silver Medal from the Musicians Company.
